Gotta clean up and fix that fence.

Growing season 2008: It's busy in the field! Thanks for your comments and suggestions, I really enjoy and appreciate them, and read them all just about daily, but when it comes to REPLYING, it may take me a while... :)

The local portion of what we're currently eating on the farm. Produce is grown here, except as noted. Prepared foods contain mainly local ingredients, not necessarily organic.
In the field: arugula, broccoli, beet greens, chives, garlic scapes, herbs (lovage, oregano, parsley, sage, thyme), mesclun, spinach
Cold storage: eggs (on-farm)
Freezer: beef, chicken, tomato sauce, turkey
Meats are purchased, small-farm, more-or-less organic, except for our own chicken.
Dried: hot peppers
Bottled: jams & jellies, honey, hot pepper sauce, maple syrup, mustard, pickled beets, pickles, relish
All purchased or gifts, small kitchen.
