My local food

The local portion of what we're currently eating on the farm. Produce is grown here, except as noted. Prepared foods contain mainly local ingredients, not necessarily organic.

In the field: carrot, Jerusalem artichoke, parsnip

Cold storage: eggs (on-farm), garlic, onion, sweet potato, winter squash

Freezer: beef, chicken, pork
Meats are purchased, small-farm, more-or-less organic, except for our own chicken.

Dried: hot peppers

Bottled: jams & jellies, honey, hot pepper sauce, maple syrup, mustard, pickled beets, pickles, relish
All purchased or gifts; local small kitchen.
