I'm so jealous of the snow! It's so beautiful; look forward to seeing more pictures of your farm in winter.

Bald eagles soaring, harbor seals frolicking, and only a kayak between you and the sea?! I'm trying to fit that image with tilling in the rain.... Someone asked me recently, "What you do in the off-season? Travel?" I found that funny. Bald eagles, huh? Sounds great!! Maybe I should consider getting off the farm more often! :)

I was just commenting to Roddy not an hour ago that I remember the trees losing their leaves far faster in Ontario; the bright reds and oranges still cling to about half the branches on Vancouver Island. Your scene is such a stark contrast to the one I'm used to on your farm - apparently for Roddy too, who thought the photo was black and white! We were sea kayaking in the sun today among harbour seals and bald eagles.... ahhh, gotta love it!
