Cycling nutrients | Tiny Farm planning | Forum

Tiny Farm Forum is now running on new, hopefully vastly improved software, but there's still a lot of clean-up to do from the migration.

If you had an account, it is gone, and you will have to re-register in order to post! Sorry, I deleted all user accounts including 50,000+ spam memberships (yes, 50K!!)—I couldn't face sorting through them all!

Just wondering what peoples opinions are on a couple of issues uniquely related to the sustainability of small farms. First, since many of you have established relationships with your customers does anyone send out a CSA box/bag and offer to accept it returned kitchen scraps, pet hair, or other common household compostable items? Second, what about human manure? Of course when people are on pharmaceuticals this cannot be considered. I'm just wondering how, if at all, people may be incorporating these potential inputs into their practices.
