Hi, does anyone know what model of Kubota tractor Tiny Farm uses?

It's a Kubota B1700. I think it was produced from 1995-1999. We got it used in the fall of 2004, from a local Kubota dealer, with about 480 hours on it. It came with a 52-inch mid-mounted mower deck. At purchase, added a 48-inch rototiller (B48) and front-end loader (LA302), both Kubota and new. It's at 895 hours right now (just checked!), so it hasn't been used that heavily. No repairs to the tractor or loader, just routine maintenance stuff, like oil and filters. There was a problem with the rototiller, part of it had to be rebuilt (parts around $300US, labor done here), probably due to dirt getting into a fitting, probably avoidable with closer regular inspection). Also with the tiller, in our kinda rocky soil, usually 2-3 tines break through the season, replaced at $20 each. So, overall, really reliable and trouble-free. So far, I love Kubota! ;)

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry I took so long getting back to you. Well, it was expensive, relative to the cost of all the rest of the farm gear, $20K. A lot of that went to the front-end loader and the rototiller, because they were new, and accounted for I think it was about $8K together. I was leaning towards spending about half that, finding what we could for about $10K total, but the money was there at the time, and it was paid off on the spot, so, no regrets.
