Seas of seedlings

An endless sea of sweet pepper seedlings, out from under the fluorescent lamps, getting used to the sun. Well, not endless, a few hundred plants, mostly red, yellow and orange bell type. If all goes well, that should be…plenty!

“Sea of seedlings” is a totally appropriate way to describe my place too. It’s peak season in the greenhouse here, we are bustling with seedlings, with trays upon trays covering all flat surfaces in the greenhouse and seedling room. Onions and early peas are to be transplanted today, which hopefully will give us some breathing room.
