I just tried digging my carrots this morning and the ground was mostly frozen, so I declared my season over and brought them all in. :)

yeap, that’s pretty much what my yard looks like in Southern Ontario although I don’t have any carrots under it. I wish I left some in now!

This is great! Now our afternoon of harvesting and washing lettuce in 40 degree F doesn’t seem quite so brutal. But it would have been nice to have some mittens instead of plunging bare hands into that icy wash water!
