You don’t see that too often around here: two inches (50 mm) of rain over the last day or so, and this after weeks of hot and dry. It’s about time!
This is the local portion of what I'm currently eating. Produce is grown on the farm, except as noted. Prepared foods contain mainly local ingredients, not necessarily organic. Spring 2012:
In our field: -
Cool storage: Garlic, onions, potatoes, winter squash
Fridge: -
Freezer: Goat, grass-fed beef, spinach
Meats are purchased, local small-farm, more-or-less organic.
Dried: Hot peppers
Bottled: -
