Here’s what Red Russian kale looks like after being left for the latest possible harvest, then frozen solid and buried in snow for a couple of months!
This is the local portion of what I'm currently eating. Produce is grown on the farm, except as noted. Prepared foods contain mainly local ingredients, not necessarily organic. Spring 2012:
In our field: -
Cool storage: Garlic, onions, potatoes, winter squash
Fridge: -
Freezer: Goat, grass-fed beef, spinach
Meats are purchased, local small-farm, more-or-less organic.
Dried: Hot peppers
Bottled: -
