As winter as it gets…

This is, I guess, the new look of winter. The barrels in the field are barely half covered, compared to the three or four feet of snow that accumulated by this time only a few years ago.

This is, I guess, the new look of winter. The barrels in the field are barely half covered, compared to the three or four feet of snow that accumulated by this time only a few years ago.
This is the local portion of what I'm currently eating. Produce is grown on the farm, except as noted. Prepared foods contain mainly local ingredients, not necessarily organic. Spring 2012:
In our field: -
Cool storage: Garlic, onions, potatoes, winter squash
Fridge: -
Freezer: Goat, grass-fed beef, spinach
Meats are purchased, local small-farm, more-or-less organic.
Dried: Hot peppers
Bottled: -
