You raise cows too?
Nope. The manure comes after being stacked for a year or two, from a farm just down the road, and we continue to compost it here. They have some big machinery, for hauling gravel and stuff, including a dump truck (!) so delivery of tons at a time is easy and cheap, and I know exactly where it comes from. Lucky me!
That’s actually a nice shot with the bright hit of the greens. kinda ironic considering it’s a pile of dung. does remind me that i too have some compost turning to do.
Good stuff. Getting back to our roots as farmers. I like it! (Pun totally intended here!)
